never disappointing, one of the best sushi place ive been to in Quebec

Came here on a Monday night. Wasn't so busy. Food was great. Server offered to explain the types of sushi included in sushi platter we ordered.

Severely understaffed on the weekends. You’ll wait forever to order and then the order takes forever to arrive as they cater to a backlog of phone orders. Sushi itself is so so and typical of Quebec, overpriced. Staff are friendly enough but definitely need some help with managing competing orders.

I discovered this restaurant thanks to the Epicurean course. I loved ! They make their own smoked salmon and soy sauce. I will go back without fail! I went back for dinner. The service was excellent and the lunch menu was very good. Really glad to have been there.

Quiet place for a Thursday night. We all chose the Thursday special which consisted of a soup accompanied by two imperial rolls that were delicious. Subsequently we had our 10 maki chosen by the chef. They had a good size. All this accompanied by a good microbrewery beer.The server was polite and very well advised. He advised us on a sake that was perfect in the mouth.The only problem was the parking was a bit hard to find due to the fact that the area was very busy.

It's definitely the best sushi I ordered in Quebec City. You have to take the gastronomic plate. It's perfect to bring a "date". Seduction by the stomach guaranteed.

Tuna tartar was great with the Gekkiekan Nigori. Staff was prompt and professional. Very clean and brite. Great experience.

Good sushi place in Quebec City. We got the gastronomique for 2 People and it was pretty good. The miso soup was average. We didn't try the desert as we bought some cakes before from the old town. Check the picture below for the dish.

The sushi was good, but expensive and the room is very small. There was a group who spoke so loud that we had trouble getting along and the waiter never intervened.

This restaurant is so sooooo good. We looked at places throughout the city for visting for sushi and decided on the this one and I'm so glad we did. Service was excellent. The hostess made some fantastic recommendations for wine. We did have some dietary restrictions (we're vegetarian, weird I know for going to a sushi restaurant) and the chef made a custom platter with the best vegetarian sushi I've ever had. Added bonus: they did not chew us out for speaking in English.

Best sushi option in the Sillery area

Very good sushi and different choices. Disappointing and we only learned at the time of the invoice that the Tuesday special (15%) did not apply to the "Gourmet" option (chef's choice).40 sushi + 3 drinks = up to $ 100.At least we have a leftover lunch tomorrow!

Good sushis, the wine is fairly priced and you get a decent glass (the one I wanted was out of stock though). However it's quite expensive unless you get a coupon. Would give 4 stars and a half

I was somewhat disappointed with the flavours and the choices of the sushis in my Tuango package. Will probably not return.

I liked the place and the atmosphere by cons I found that sushi all tasted the same and the price was a bit high for the product.

First pleasant experience in the dining room. Tasty and very decent service.However, the second take out experience ... horrible! Disgusting, far too expensive $ 93 with tip and tax for 22 pieces and 2 small soups not edible (special Valentine's Day) we are two fans of sushi and it is the first time that we are forced to throw sushi in the trash . Extremely disappointed, I wanted to please my girlfriend.

It's been twice that I order to take away and both times they missed my order. I do not recommend at all (at least if you take delivery or take away).

We used my partner and I to order regularly at Nihon. It was, in our opinion, the best place for sushi in town !!Tonight we are extremely disappointed with our meal.We ordered 4 kinds, including a sushi pizza and maki, plus a side of hosomaki.The lobster on the pizza seemed to come straight from a can and one of the lemurs had soya leaves and ripe mango so ripe that it was all blackened.We were greatly surprised to see how small the sushi was, our lemurs being barely larger than the hosomaki. (But the price always the same)In short, we are really speechless to find that this is not at all the quality to which we were used.We will not order from this place anymore !! Unfortunately...

We took the table d'hôtes for two and we were not disappointed. Usually I'm not a fan of pizza sushi (second service), but my boyfriend and I loved them and devoured them. Super sushi well stocked, great presentation of dishes, great service. Our waitress was smiling and really caring. In short, for our romantic head to head, we really appreciated and we will return!
